Government hospital — clinical flooring & MEP

Two phases of clinical vinyl flooring, then the multi-trade scopes that followed — thirteen separate awards from the same facility, with further works running today.

The hospital needed damaged vinyl replaced across occupied clinical areas. Working under infection-control protocols, we sequenced the works ward by ward so adjacent departments stayed open throughout. Substrates were levelled and moisture tested before laying; every seam was heat-welded and every wall junction coved and capped, producing a fully sealed floor that meets clinical hygiene requirements.

Phase 2 was awarded on the strength of Phase 1. An anti-slip package for the washrooms followed, and from there the relationship widened into mechanical, plumbing, electrical and equipment scopes. Because the facility already holds our vendor registration, insurance file and approved method statements, mobilisation on a new scope now takes days rather than weeks.

Women & children’s hospital — 750 m² clinical vinyl

Won on open tender against established contractors.

The facility tendered the replacement of damaged vinyl flooring. We submitted a full technical and commercial proposal, cleared the technical evaluation and were awarded following a best-and-final offer round. Because the setting is a children’s and maternity hospital, the material submittal included four Forbo Sphera StarT colour options with recommended combinations for paediatric and maternity areas, formally signed off before any material was released to site.

Car detailing facility — industrial unit conversion

A bare industrial unit in Dubai turned into a customer-facing vehicle detailing facility.

The client needed a working detailing centre rather than a warehouse — somewhere a customer could hand over a car, sit down, and watch the work. That meant carving offices, a glazed meeting room and treatment bays out of an open shell without losing the clear height and vehicle access the operation depends on. We held the whole scope: civil, interior, MEP and finishes. The unit was handed over clean and operational, and the client came back to us for the external branding package that followed.

Car showroom — design & fit-out package

A full showroom package taken from measured layout through to 3D-approved design — display floor, demonstration suite and the customer journey between them.

A car showroom has to present the product and move the customer through a sales process at the same time. The design places the display floor and demonstration suite on one axis, with reception, meeting room and refreshment area held to the side so a browsing customer and a closing customer never compete for the same space. Ceiling rafts and track lighting light the product rather than the room, and the hard floor finish is specified to take vehicle movement without showing tyre marking.

Hospitality & private clients — small contracts, same paperwork

The size of contract most large contractors will not mobilise for and most small ones cannot document properly.

A hospitality client with a live kitchen and a tight corridor linking a conference room, three private offices and a dry pantry. The scope was measured directly off the client’s own floor plan, consolidated to the corridor alone, and priced as a single fixed sum with no provisional items — corridor false ceiling with perimeter gypsum bulkhead, LED down-lights, and door supply and ironmongery.
